I don’t just understand the clinical side of speech and language—I understand the lived experience.
What sets me apart is a deeply personal understanding of the communication journey. As a clinician who has successfully navigated my own neurodivergent experiences, and being raised a child of immigrants.
I do not expect perfectly behaved children and am equipped to meet all people where they are at because I understand behaviors are just communication frustrations and insecurities.
I am very focused on building communication confidence and mastering functional communication. My sessions are about collaborating with the family needs and discovering the child’s strengths to master practical real-word skills.
I believe that people learn best when topics are tailored toward their interest and it feels like fun, rather than homework. I make sure to include the child’s interests and do not inundate a child with rigid drills.
I know that being a parent is very busy! I create home exercise plans will fit into your daily routine for you and your child, not feel like extra work for you.

You are the expert on your child and you can trust your intuition. If you are concerned about their communication, it’s always worth looking into. Perhaps an evaluation could determine they are meeting milestones. However, if they need a extra support, it never hurts to start early.

Yes, it absolutely works, and I have over six years of successful outcomes to prove it! I have used teletherapy to help children as young as 3 years old thrive. One thing to note is that parent participation is crucial to success, and for younger children, an adult does need to be present throughout the entire session.
One awesome thing about teletherapy is the convenience. I have parents who choose this over in person therapies, because this means we can hold the sessions not just in their home, but we can shift environments: at the parents workspace, in the park, on vacation, etc. Since I am all about natural communication environments, I find lots of fun ways to conduct the session in environments around wherever you might go in your daily life!
I have had rare cases where teletherapy has been less effective than in person, and this was when the child was completely bored by screen time.
